Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you hire Zohaib Labs, run by Zohaib Alam ("we", "us") to design or build a website, app or other software ("the project"), and when you use zohaiblabs.com. By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to them.

1. Quotes and scope

Every project starts with a written quote that lists the screens, features and platforms included, the price and the timeline. Work not listed in the quote is extra and is quoted separately before we start it. A quote is valid for 30 days.

2. Payment

• 50% of the project price is paid before work starts, and 50% before launch or handover.
• We accept debit and credit cards (processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number), bank transfer, and in Pakistan also JazzCash and Easypaisa. Prices are in USD or PKR as written on the quote.
• Invoices are due within 7 days. We may pause work on unpaid projects.
• If you have a problem with a card payment, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.

3. Mockup and changes

We share a clickable mockup before the build. The quote includes up to two rounds of changes to the mockup. Once you approve it, larger design changes during the build are quoted as extra work.

4. Timelines and your part

Timelines start when we receive the deposit and everything we need from you (text, logos, images, logins, payment account details). Delays in getting these, or in your feedback, move the launch date by the same amount.

5. Ownership

When the project is paid in full, you own the finished design, content and the code written for your project. We keep the right to reuse our own general tools and code libraries, and to show the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

6. Hosting, domains and third-party services

Hosting, domains, app store accounts, payment providers and other third-party services are billed by those companies and are your responsibility, unless they are included in a care plan. We are not responsible for their outages, fees or policy changes, including app store review decisions.

7. Warranty and support

We fix bugs in the work we delivered free of charge for 30 days after launch. After that, support is available on a care plan or at our hourly rate. The warranty does not cover changes made by others, new features, or problems caused by third-party services.

8. Confidentiality

We keep your business information, data and logins confidential and use them only to deliver your project.

9. Liability

We build carefully and test before launch, but no software is free of errors. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

10. Ending a project

Either side can end a project in writing. You pay for the work done up to that date, and we hand over everything completed so far once it is paid. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the details.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We will always try to resolve a disagreement by talking first.
