If you ask five developers in Pakistan what a website costs, you'll get five answers between Rs 15,000 and Rs 500,000. All of them can be honest. The price depends on what the website has to do, not on the number of pages alone.
Here are the ranges we see in 2026, and what you get for each.
A simple business website: Rs 30,000 to Rs 80,000
This is a site that tells customers who you are, what you sell and how to reach you. Usually 4 to 8 pages: home, services, about, contact, maybe a gallery.
What should be included at this price:
- A design made for your business, not a template with your logo dropped in
- Fast loading on phones, because most of your visitors are on mobile data
- A WhatsApp button and a contact form that actually reaches you
- Basic SEO: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and Google Search Console
- Hosting, domain and a business email set up
Our business website starts at Rs 45,000.
A WordPress website: Rs 35,000 to Rs 70,000
WordPress makes sense when you want to edit pages, add blog posts or change photos yourself. The price is similar to a custom site, but you get your own admin login.
The cheap end of the market is where WordPress goes wrong: heavy themes, 30 plugins and no backups. A good WordPress site uses a light theme, a handful of trusted plugins, caching for speed and automatic backups.
An online store: Rs 100,000 to Rs 300,000
A store costs more because it does more: products, stock, delivery charges, order emails and payments. In Pakistan that means cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank transfer. If you sell abroad, add card payments.
WooCommerce (WordPress) stores sit at the lower end. Custom stores cost more and suit subscriptions, bookings or unusual checkout flows.
A web app or business system: Rs 200,000 and up
Portals, dashboards, invoicing, booking and school or clinic management systems are software, not websites. Staff log in with different roles, records are created and searched, reports are exported. The price depends on the number of screens and rules. A focused first version is usually Rs 200,000 to Rs 600,000.
What makes a website cost more
- Custom design instead of a ready-made theme
- Payments and anything with user accounts
- Writing the text for you (budget about Rs 3,000 a page)
- Urgent delivery, usually 20 to 30% extra
- Connections to other systems: couriers, SMS, accounting
Watch out for these costs later
Ask every developer what happens after launch. Hosting and the domain renew every year. Plugins and software need updates. If the developer disappears, who has the passwords?
Make sure you own the domain in your own name, get all logins when the project ends, and know who fixes things in month two.
How to get a fair quote
Write down what the website must do for your customers, not just the pages. Ask for a mockup before you pay for the build, and a fixed price with a delivery date. At Zohaib Labs the mockup is free and the quote is fixed before we start. Ask for a quote or see our pricing.
